A one-of-a-kind collector's piece - an intricate, hand-carved ring in 22kt yellow gold. A 2.90 carat cushion-rectangular tanzanite takes centre stage, set in a fully carved band with diamonds nestled at the centre of the flower detailing. Tanzanite is mined exclusively in Tanzania - the rough stone emerges from the earth a diesel colour, then undergoes heat treatment to reveal its predominant signature hue. Currently sized at US 7.5; can be resized to fit perfectly. A retail valuation certificate is included.
